Looking for a book of "traditional crafts" with basic instructions?
I’m looking for a book that would contain quilting, embroidery, making potpourri, candles, soap, use of natural dyes etc (with basic instructions). Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I would really like to be a fashion designer… I’ve been one all my life. I don’t have money for things like copic markers to sketch, I don’t have money to buy a new or used sewing machine, or a dress form, or fabric, or patterns. I’m basically broke. My grades aren’t that good so I can’t get that great scholarships. Do you guys have any suggestions?
I am only interested in quilting and am trying to learn from this homequilting systems group I have not sent any emails but i do read others and learn a lot about quilting machines and frames .thankyou for listening

I need a mermaid tail that’s realistic, with scales and everything. And not too expensive.
I thought of making my own, cause I saw this how-to make a mermaid tail on youtube, but I really don’t know how to sew. Does anyone know where I can find the material needed, or a mono fin? Some sewing tips, too. Even a sewing machine!
I can’t have anything too expensive, but nothing crappy. Please help me!
The Bayside Quilting site said the Yahoo group had answers but did not say how to contact. I have a Juki TL98E and the frame does not allow room for the thread spindle. I want to use the platform for the foot control. Any suggestions, please??? thanks
