I design quilt patterns, and also do long arm quilting, and my long arm quilting customers have asked me where they can purchase my quilting patterns at. I’ve been thinking… is it legal to go into local quilting supply stores to see if they would like to purchase at wholesale? The local small businesses are independently owned and not a franchise… is this legal or would I need special licenses?

Ok basically i wanted to start a patchwork quilt/blanket and need a list of equipment that i will need to start. if anyone can supply approximate prices i would be grateful also(uk sterling). i also need help on selecting the best fabric as i wish to use my own designs on it. Any advice would be great.
How much does it cost to make a quilt ? ( I have all the supplies sewing machine, rotatary cutter, mat, etc) I am talking about thread, fabric ( good quality), and batting for a full size quilt??

I would like to make a quilt for my baby boy. I just got a new sewing machine, and have bought my fabrics and supplies.
The only instructions I can find online are saying to use the diamond cloth pieces as well as the triangle ones. I would rather just use all diamond pieces.

I have souvenir t-shirts that I no longer want to wear or keep stored away. I thought that using them in a quilt would keep my memories in full view every day as well as serve a functional purpose. I have found shops & web-sites offering books, supplies and classes. I just want to find a person who will utilize my design to make a quilt for me. Where/how do I find a quiltmaker?
