@SID39 I noticed that too….I want to start quilting at the first of the year and am trying to get a jump by watching these tutorials..they’re great!
Just a warning, be careful if you are mixing up charm packs from different Manufacturers, they are not all 5″ squares! Moda’s look to be a true 5″, but Thimbleberries are about 5-1/4″ squares, & a few others are somewhere in between. As long as you stay with one company in a quilt, or make sure you trim down those larger squares you will be fine. Best wishes all you quilting enthusiasts! Especially thanks to Jenny, love the great shortcut, and love watching your natural teaching style.
fantastic tutorial, I’m just starting quilting and wanted to do one with pinwheels next so this is a huge helping hand for me! Thankyou
Fantastic! — michele
Thanks Jenny for the pinwheel video…You’re the best and make it seem so easy
brilliant…now i have less stress about measuring and getting the sewing right!
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! I have made a couple of these as baby quilts to give as gifts and you wouldn’t believe how I made them! Let’s just say it was a lot more labor intensive! This is my favorite pattern for quilt squares and I am anxious to try it this way. Thank you again!
I was up last night watching all of your video’s. They are a great source for us beginners. Thanks and I shared it on my FB page.
I just made my forst pinwheel! It turned out pretty darn good!
This is to awesome…I will be using this very very soon.
As for the Mary Ellens, I can personally vouch that it is wonderful and really helps keep fabrics in place and to not stretch much on the bias.
Oh Jenny….you make this look so easy. I tried it and alothough it wasn’t hard, mine did not look at good as yours.
Thanks for these tutorials…..they inspire me!

It is good IN THOERY, but when you do this you have bias edges on the ouside edges of the block. What a nightmare that would be.
@wisfritz4 It isn’t a nightmare. It works great and I have done it over and over….try it and let me know!
I saw a pinwheel pattern with bright pinwheels on a black background but can’t find it again. Could you tell me what to click on to find it.
